Hello, I am Mariana, a Senior Product Designer & Service Designer based in Milan.
With 13+ years of professional experience, with a strength in User Experience and Design Thinking approach on digital products and services. I am a Service Design evangelist, enthusiastic about holistic thinking and systemic approaches to problem solving. I work at the intersection of Experience Design, Research & Strategy, creating new solutions based on research methods, creative problem solving and collaborative design methods to design services, experiences and systems. I am passionate about designing meaningful experiences and services for people.
Being a Brazilian with Japanese heritage, who grew up in a diverse cultural environment, made me curious about different cultures and about understanding deeply how people think and interact with products and services. Understanding people allows me to design new products experiences and be able to strategize and design human-centered solutions, which are empathetic to both user and business' needs.In my life, I’ve always pursued meaningful projects and innovative solutions and I’m most inspired by people's stories. I work in projects ranging from user research, designing prototypes and testing concepts; I have experience collaborating side-by-side with product managers and developers.
Moreover, I am part of the global leadership team for Ladies that UX as the EMEA Director. Ladies that UX is a global, friendly, warm, understanding, and inclusive community of amazing and creative women that work with UX. Our goal is to push the UX boundaries and promote female skill and talent.
